Franklin businesses offer an assortment of events throughout town for hikers and locals alike.  Most events consist of food, beverage, music and comradery. 

Coinciding with the A.T. Celebration, The Macon County Public Library hosts "Walking With Spring." This is a series of programs that highlight A.T. hikers and authors.
